Collision liability coverage pays out in the event you collide with something. Examples of collision damage include contact with another vehicle, contact with an object, and contact with a pedestrian to name a few.
  • Motor Truck Cargo Coverage: This coverage pays for damage to cargo that is in your care, custody or control. Cargo coverage can usually only be utilized to pay for damage to cargo that you do not own. Owner Operators of dump trucks will rarely need cargo coverage but it should be available from almost all insurance carriers.
  • Trailer Interchange Coverage: This coverage provides physical damage coverage up to a stated amount (Set by you) in the even that you are pulling a trailer that you do not own. Most dump truck operations utilize standard dump trucks. However, If you operate a truck tractor and pull an end dump trailer this coverage can be very valuable. This coverage is only utilized when you are pulling a trailer that you do not own.
