What is the General Aggregate?
The General Aggregate will be the maximum value that the policy will payout for all claims during the policy term, typically one year.
Do I get a discount for packaging my policy?
Yes, and it can be quite significant. The savings can be between 5% and 15% for each policy. Obviously, the more policies you package the greater the savings. In addition to packaging with a single company, you also have better protection with less chance of a gap in coverage since the carrier is covering everything. Additionally, if there is an incident resulting in claims across multiple policies, the claim process is typically more simplified.
I am trying to get a contract to work for a large project, can you meet their insurance requirements?
